FOODIE: Cheesecakes ETC.

Friday is always an extremely stressful day, last Friday was more stressful than usual. So, my officemates and I went to Blue Wave to unwind. I told them I just wanted cake, so the first pastry shop that greeted me was Cheesecakes Etc., kaya dun na kami kumain. Medyo magulo yung Blue Wave ang dami kasing tao but Cheesecakes was quite homey and QUIET so that was an added bonus.

I just waited for them to decide but I already knew what I would be eating, Chocolate cake.

So I ordered the Choco True Confection and the Parfait.

OMG! I could live inside that cake, so I declared. It was moist enough but the chocolate taste and flavor oozed and I loved it. Decadent. That's all I can say.

I think it was a flourless cake as it had this solid consistency unlike a chocolate chiffon, which is usually airy. I love the chocolate that they used, I don't know if it was Ghirardelli or Ricoa but it was good, the ganache was not as shiny but it tasted great.

The parfait was OK, I guess you can't expect anything more from a jelly dessert. Tingin ko they used Jell-O iba kasi lasa eh. It tasted good, I would have wanted more whipped cream.

So, I had my dessert fix for 250 at Cheesecakes and I was satisfied. Hindi ko lang inubos kasi mataba na ako. Baka lalo na akong tumaba hehehe [^_^]
